This policy explains what information Miami AC & HVAC Contractors Directory (https://hvac.magiccityweekly.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep this simple and honest: the site collects little, and only what is needed to run the directory.

1. Who operates this site

Miami AC & HVAC Contractors Directory is operated by Evoltra Solutions LLC. You can reach us at support@curatepoint.com for any privacy question or request.

2. Information you give us

You can browse the site without creating an account or directly submitting personal information to us. We receive personal information only when you choose to send it:

Contact form on a listing: your name, email address, phone number if you include it, and your message. We store the inquiry and pass it along to the listed business.
Newsletter signup: your email address.
Listing claim requests: your name, email address, your business phone number, and a description of your connection to the business. We use this to verify the claim.
Reviews: your name as you want it shown, your email address, your rating, and your review text. Your email address is not published.
Listing suggestions and update requests: the business details you provide, plus your name and email address so we can follow up.
Listing owner accounts: the email address used to send you sign-in links. There are no passwords.

3. Business information in listings

Listings are built from public records, such as state licensing data, together with information provided by businesses. We may also keep business contact details on file internally, for example an email address published on a business's own website, so we can contact that business about its listing. Internally stored contact details are not published on the site.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to run the directory: passing inquiries to businesses, verifying claims, reviewing submitted content before publication, sending the newsletter you asked for, sending sign-in links you request, and responding when you contact us. We also count page views in aggregate to understand which listings are viewed. These counts are not tied to your identity.

5. What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party advertising and we do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. We do not build visitor profiles.

6. Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies for regular browsing. A session cookie is set when someone signs in to an account, such as a listing owner or directory administrator. Essential security cookies may also be set when needed to protect the site. These cookies are used only for sign-in, security, and site operation.

7. How you arrived

When you first submit a form, we may record basic referral context, such as the campaign or page that brought you to the site. This helps us understand which outreach is useful. It is not used to track you across other sites.

8. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the site, and information is handled by them only for that purpose: Cloudflare (site hosting, security, and image storage), Neon (database hosting), and Resend (delivery of the emails described above). If you open the map view, your browser loads map images from OpenStreetMap's servers. As with any direct web request, OpenStreetMap may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details.

9. Content review

Everything submitted for publication, including reviews, listing suggestions, update requests, and images, is reviewed by the directory team before it appears on the site.

10. Retention and your choices

We keep inquiries, claims, account records, and submitted content only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the directory, maintain accurate records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to unsubscribe you from the newsletter, correct personal information about you, or delete personal information you submitted by writing to support@curatepoint.com. We will honor valid requests unless we need to retain limited information for legitimate operational or legal reasons. Newsletter recipients may also unsubscribe by replying to an email.

11. Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the current version.
